Get to Know Us
God's Green Acre Association(GGAA) is a non-profit youth organization that empowers young women through horsemanship. Founded in 1962, GGAA provides a safe and affirming environment for girls aged 12-18 to develop confidence, responsibility and leadership skills by caring for and riding horses
Get to Know Us
GGAA operates on a 160- acre ranch in Hillsboro, offering opportunities for girls with or without prior riding experience. The organization relies on parental and volunteer involvement to keep membership affordable. Members of GGAA become a family "where girls become friends, friends become family and family becomes forever."

God’s Green Acres has been nothing short of life-changing. It’s not just a place where girls learn to ride and care for horses—it’s a safe haven where confidence, responsibility, and resilience are built every single day.In the short time we’ve been a part of the ranch, I’ve watched girls arrive shy, uncertain, and sometimes carrying heavy burdens, only to blossom into strong, capable young women through the guidance of mentors and the healing connection they form with the horses. This ranch provides more than opportunities—it provides hope, belonging, and a sense of purpose. The work they are doing here is truly extraordinary, and the impact will last a lifetime for every girl who passes through their gates.

GGAA has been a tremendous blessing to our family and becoming a member was easily the best decision I’ve ever made. My daughter has grown so much by being around the horses & the other ranch girls. Her responsibility, accountability, and patience has improved ten fold! I look forward to every day we get to spend at the Ranch with our GGAA Family! My younger daughters can’t wait until they’re old enough to hold the title of “Ranch Girl” like their big sister.

I will say the best years of my life were spent during my time at GGAA. I had the best high-school experience being around horses and making lifelong friendships. I am still friends with those girls 10 years later! What makes this place truly special it its strong sense of community. The older girls and families guide newer members in learning to ride while fostering responsibility and self-confidence.The fact that GGAA continues to flourish makes my heart happy!
