GGAA Ranch

Make A Tax-Deductible Donation

GGAA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and relies on your donations to give the benefits of horsemanship to as many girls as possible. Your gift gives lifelong friendships, confidence, and learning to our ranch girls!

WHO WE ARE

For over 50 years, God’s Green Acre Association has been devoted to empowering young women through a shared love of horses. Girls gain confidence through learning about and riding horses, as well as building lifelong friendships in a fun and family-friendly environment.

We are a mounted troop with its roots in Webster Groves and Kirkwood (formerly Girl Scout Mounted Troop 1184). We have programs for girls ages 11 – 18 with a passion for horses. No riding experience necessary!

WHAT WE OFFER

MEMBER PROFILE

Our girls range in age from 11 to 18. No horse ownership required! Girls can ride a troop horse or board a personal horse. Our families come from all across the region, including Hillsboro, DeSoto, South County, Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Fenton and St. Charles County.

FAMILY PARTICIPATION

GGAA is a volunteer-led not-for-profit. One way parents participate is through sharing Saturday chaperone duty. Duty parents offer carpooling and are on site during girls’ hours.

Parents also assist with horse shows, parades, and our parents’ board.

DAYS TO RIDE & GIRL HOURS

The best part about membership is the full access to our facilities and horses any time you want!

SATURDAYS are reserved strictly for girls!

Sunday through Friday is open to the girls, their family & friends. Membership gives you access to the troop horses and house for meals, overnights, or just a day out at the barn to ride and enjoy.

BOARDING

Our horses are pasture boarded year-round. Horses are brought into the barn daily for wellness checks and feeding by our on-site caretaker.
